A sportscaster broadly known for his coverage of the NFL as well as the NCAA, Greg Gumbel started working as a sportscaster in 1973. The sportscaster has worked for CBS, ESPN, and MSG, among other networks, and he became the very first African American to call a major sports tournament along with his play-by-play of the Super Bowl in 2001.
