Irene Cara is an American actress and vocalist with an estimated net worth of $2 million dollars. Born in The Bronx, NY, Irene Cara began playing music before she started school, and shortly added acting and dance courses to her music training. Through the late 70s, Irene starred on the television show, “Love of Life”, and also appeared in multiple mini series and Off Broadway shows. In 1980, she was cast in the character that could bring her enduring fame, as Coco Hernandez in the hit movie, “Fame”.
