Kevin DuBrow was born in La, California, and started playing guitar when he was in elementary school. At one point, he formed a band with other 11 year olds, and the group played for local senior citizens. In 1975, he was encouraged to join the band, Quiet Riot. The group remained together until 1980, when founding member Randy Rhoades left the group. Over the years, Quiet Riot broke up and got back together a couple of times, and featured a rotating band of musicians. Kevin DuBrow released 10 albums with Quiet Riot, in addition to multiple singles and an album of covers as a solo artist.
