Marcia Strassman was born in NYC, NY in April 1948 and passed away in October 2014. Marcia triumphed Liza Minnelli in the off Broadway musical Best Foot Forward at 15 year sold. From 1972 to 1973 she starred as Nurse Maggie Cutler to the television series M*A*S*H. Among Strassman’s best known characters came starring as Julie Kotter to the TV series Welcome Back, Kotter from 1975 to 1979. In 1980 Marcia starred as Carol Younger in the show Good Time Harry. She starred as Alicia Rudd in the show Booker from 1989 to 1990. She starred as Meredith in the show Providence from 2001 to 2002. Her other best known character came starring as Diane Szalinksi in the pictures Honey, I Shrunk the Kids and Honey, I Blew Up the Kid that she was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007. Marcia Strassman passed away on October 25, 2014 in the age of 66.
