Nick Denton Net Worth 2018, Biography/Wiki, Married/Wedding
Nick Denton net worth: Nick Denton is a British journalist and Internet entrepreneur that has a net worth of $100 million. The Oxford-educated Internet entrepreneur got his start freelancing for British papers in Eastern Europe in the early ’90s before getting work in the Financial Times. In 2002, he founded Gawker Media with two sites, Gawker.com and gadget hub Gizmodo.com. The conglomerate now crosses eight sites in Manhattan’s Nolita neighborhood, worth an estimated $320 million. While those websites flourished, news aggregator Kinja.com, gambling blog Oddjack, and news site Sploid neglected to take off. On the contentious side of things, in 2010 Denton released an anonymous kissandtell piece entitled I’d a One-Night Stand with Christine O’Donnell, causing ire among left leaning feminists. The arresting headline was also not accurate, even in the writer’s position, since according to the writer, O’Donnell just slept nude together with the anonymous writer and didn’t have sex with him. The National Organization for Women condemned the piece as slut-shaming. Denton and Washington were in fact married on May 31st and wedding guests were led to the museum’s Hayden Planetarium for a 40-minute excursion through the stars.
